Spire’s Kelly Pettersen to Present at Nashville Build Expo

Spire Consultant, Kelly Pettersen, will be presenting at the 2018 Nashville Build Expo on both December 5th and 6th. Ms. Pettersen’s presentation, Effective Construction Scheduling – Understanding and Managing the Critical Path, will discuss the importance of scheduling to effectively manage projects, forecast completion dates, and communicate the overall construction plan.

Spire is pleased to welcome the newest Managing Consultant to the San Francisco office, Roger Nelson, PE, PSP, LEED AP. Mr. Nelson has over 16 years of experience in both the public and private sectors of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry and has worked in the field alongside architects, contractors, and engineers in the construction process and provided services on construction-related disputes for various complex projects.

Spire’s experts have been published in the September/October 2018 edition of AACE International (AACE)’s Cost Engineering journal. The paper, Identifying and Predicting Labor Availability in the Construction Industry, was authored by Spire’s Nour Bouhou, PhD, Senior Consultant; Anthony Gonzales, Managing Principal; and Marcelo Azambuja, PhD, Consultant.

Spire Managing Consultant, Kate Hull, presented at the Surety Association of South Texas luncheon on August 21st, 2018. The session titled Quantification of Damages: Basics to Best Practices, provided an overview on damages quantification methods and how to apply those methods.
