On August 9th, Senior Consultant, Jesus Schuldes, MS, PSP, will deliver a presentation to the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Construction Law, Division 12, which focuses on Owners and Project Finance. Division 12 strives to educate and provide practical advice on the unique concerns of owners and lenders in all aspects of the construction process. The presentation, titled “What Should Owners Look for in a Contractor Schedule?”, will address the cornerstones of construction scheduling and provide pointers on how to write appropriate contract specifications. Mr. Schuldes will offer insight into a typical contractor’s schedule, the applicable standard American Institute of Architects (AIA) contract clauses, and recommended clauses to help attorneys and their clients develop air-tight construction contracts.

As project controls experts, Spire’s consultants help owners and contractors in all aspects of project scheduling and contract specifications. The presentation will be delivered during Division 12’s monthly conference call on August 9th at 12:00 p.m. EST and is closed to members of the Division.
