Welcoming Three New Professionals to Spire Consulting Group

SPIRE WELCOMES THREE NEW PROFESSIONALS TO EXPAND THE TEXAS TEAM


 

 

 

Spire’s Texas presence is expanding with the addition of three new experts to our Austin headquarters office. We are excited to announce the addition of Ms. Heather Vacek to the marketing department as a Proposal Manager, leading the strategy and development of key client proposals and pursuits within Spire. We are also welcoming Mr. David Carlson, LEED AP BD+C and Mr. Casey Burson to our team of construction experts as Consultant and Associate Consultant, respectively. These individuals will support clients in project planning and controls efforts, in addition to guiding them through dispute resolution in construction-related conflicts.

Heather Vacek, Spire Consulting GroupMs. Heather Vacek is a leader in the A/E/C industry with more than 15 years of experience in marketing professional services. She brings extensive knowledge in proposal development and management, research and review, and the development of pursuit strategies to her role at Spire. Ms. Vacek works closely with Spire’s technical and sales staff to lead the creation of strategically-focused business development collateral, such as qualifications, proposals, and presentations. She has superior abilities in coaching the executive team in pursuit and proposal best practices and can manage multiple, simultaneous projects working in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. She effectively communicates with many company leaders across disciplines to enhance client deliverables as well as Spire’s greater pursuit objectives.

 

David Carlson, Spire Consulting GroupMr. David Carlson uses his 10+ years of experience to assist clients in all their project and litigation needs. Mr. Carlson has a wealth of construction management and analysis experience, having spent over a decade working on projects totaling more than $2 billion in contracts for regional to Fortune 500 construction corporations. In addition to providing clients with proactive and forensic support services, Mr. Carlson has also spent significant time working in the field. His range of experiences provides him with valuable, multifaceted expertise within the A/E/C industry. His skillset includes schedule development and adjustment, quantity take-offs, estimate and proposal creation, document review, and claims analysis preparation.

 

Casey Burson, Spire Consulting GroupMr. Casey Burson brings with him significant project management experience from his work with a top North Texas contractor prior to joining Spire. He has held responsibilities such as methods of procedure development, analyzing job hazards, and managing owner and subcontractor change orders. At Spire, Mr. Burson evaluates project planning efforts for clients by performing constructability and technical reviews of baseline schedules and schedule updates, as well as providing litigation support in complex construction-related disputes involving a variety of industries.
