SPIRE’S MANAGING PRINCIPAL HOSTS A TRACK AT NORTH AMERICA’S 1ST INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF CONSTRUCTION LAW CONFERENCE

Since its foundation in 1983, the Society of Construction Law has worked to promote for the public benefit education, study and research in the field of construction law and related subjects (including ADR, arbitration and adjudication), both in the UK and overseas. The Society has over 3,000 members from all sectors of the construction industry.

 

Spire’s Managing Principal, Anthony Gonzales, is hosting a track at the 8th International Society of Construction Law Conference that is taking place at the Palmer House in Chicago, IL from September 26-28, 2018. This year’s conference is the first time the event has been held in North America. 

Anthony Gonzales hosting a track, ASCE’s Standard For Identifying, Measuring, And Proving Loss of Productivity presented by Dr. William Ibbs and Dr. David Halligan at the 8th International Society of Construction Law Conference.

The conference, named Construction Law: Local Issues – Global Perspectives, is focusing on the global practice of construction law; insights into the legal, business, and economic challenges and opportunities in construction today; and the exchange of best practices from experts carefully selected from all corners of the globe. The Society of Construction Law is providing a unique opportunity for legal and construction industry professionals from around the world to interact with each other and discuss these issues together.

The conference is attended by Owners, Senior Construction Executives, General Counsel, Construction Attorneys, Design Professionals, and Consultants. Speakers include various leaders and professionals from a number of jurisdictions who will share their invaluable knowledge and experience and highlight numerous issues, opportunities and emerging trends.
