SPIRE’S ROGER NELSON PRESENTS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SCHEDULING & DELAY CLAIMS SEMINAR

Spire San Francisco’s Roger Nelson, PE, PSP, LEED AP has been invited to speak at The Seminar Group’s Construction Project Scheduling & Delay Claims live webcast. Titled “Basics of Project Scheduling and Forensic Schedule Delay,” Mr. Nelson’s particular session will outline the CPM schedule development process and mechanics, the identification of the critical path, acceleration, and the differences between delay and disruption. He will also share his most effective methods of forensic schedule delay analysis. Mr. Nelson’s presentation will be shared alongside discussions regarding the global effects of COVID-19 on the construction industry, as well as specific delay and schedule issues caused by the pandemic.

The live program, broadcast from Los Angeles, California, offers attendees the opportunity to learn from preeminent construction law industry leaders as they discuss the most challenging issues they are currently seeing and the issues they expect will arise in the near future. Through analysis of specific delay events and discussion among this expert panel, the seminar aims to equip attendees with practical, applicable knowledge that can be used to measure and quantify the various claims their projects may have experienced as a result of the pandemic, as well as potential delays that could arise in the future.

The webcast will take place on Monday, June 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM PDT. Mr. Nelson will be presenting alongside Swinerton Builders’ David Cramp, Jones Day’s Rowan T. Mason, Pillsbury Winthrop’s Jessica R. Bogo, Encore Group’s Amanda Stanek, and Bergman Dacey Goldsmith’s John P. Dacey.
