Spire Managing Principal, Anthony Gonzales, has carried his thought-leading reputation into the New Year. In the first few weeks of 2019, he has delivered presentations to the Project Management College of Scheduling (PMCOS)’s College of Fellows Annual Meeting, and the Texas Executive MBA Program, offered by the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Gonzales was invited to co-chair a presentation at the Third Annual PMCOS College of Fellows Annual Meeting at The Breakers in Palm Beach, FL. The focus of the presentation was centered around utilizing scheduling techniques in industry sectors other than construction. Specifically, the presentation described how to schedule for hurricane preparedness plans, mergers and acquisitions, and firm staffing and strategic planning within corporate structures. Mr. Gonzales’ co-speakers included Jacqui Nevils and Virginia Harvey from Raytheon, and David Halligan of Ankura.
Mr. Gonzales was also invited by the Texas Executive MBA Program to present on his journey as the Founder and Managing Principal of Spire. His presentation focused on how he was able to achieve success within the company, while continuously creating a workplace filled with driven, talented and entrepreneurial-minded professionals. In business, Mr. Gonzales stresses the importance of having an equal bond between culture and accountability, ultimately making for a balanced team that acts as a whole unit.
