PLEASE WELCOME SAMER ARWANI ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT

Mr. Arwani is translating his experience to Spire’s construction management and dispute resolution services, working closely with clients to mitigate project risk in order to build things with peace of mind.

Mr. Samer Arwani, Associate Consultant, has focused his career on construction planning and management. He developed an interest in pre-construction and construction management while working on international construction projects, primarily in the mixed-use and multi-family residential markets. These high-profile projects allowed him to gain a thorough understanding of the day-to-day operations of a job site including tracking project progress, reviewing cost variances, and supporting the executive project team by preparing high-level status reports.

Mr. Arwani’s experience enables him to work closely with clients to mitigate project risk and help them build things with peace of mind. He supports the construction management team by developing construction schedules and managing costs according to contract specifications. With the dispute resolution team, he analyzes construction contracts and documents to help clients prepare claims and expert reports that may be used in mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

Mr. Arwani was an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) chapter at his university, holding the position of chapter president and vice president. During this time, he organized several international engineering competitions and secured several prominent guest speakers such as the global president of ASCE and the co-founder of Arabtec Construction, the leader in the UAE construction industry. Mr. Arwani is also an award-winning construction professional, placing first and third in several university-organized design and engineering competitions. He is a LEED Green Associate (GA) with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and has completed the OSHA 30-Hour safety training.

Mr. Arwani earned a Master of Science in civil engineering, with a focus in construction management, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the American University in Dubai.
