Spire Adds Roger Nelson, PE, PSP, LEED AP to Growing San Francisco Team

Spire is pleased to welcome the newest Managing Consultant to the San Francisco office, Roger Nelson, PE, PSP, LEED AP. Mr. Nelson has over 16 years of experience in both the public and private sectors of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry and has worked in the field alongside architects, contractors, and engineers in the construction process and provided services on construction-related disputes for various complex projects.

At Spire, Mr. Nelson provides construction and program management services by performing contract risk analysis, change order reviews, schedule oversight, and cost management throughout the lifecycle of a project. He also provides forensic services by analyzing, developing, and preparing claim evaluations, and supports clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

Mr. Nelson has obtained a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. He currently serves as the Region 6 Director of AACE International (AACE).

WHO ELSE IS NEW AT SPIRE?

In addition to hiring Mr. Nelson, Spire has added two more individuals to the Austin headquarters office. Sara Wilson, SHRM-CP is leading Spire’s human resources division, and Erin Roberts has joined the marketing and proposal team as a Marketing Assistant.

As Spire’s HR Manager, Sara Wilson, SHRM-CP manages all human resources efforts and provides strategic and organizational leadership solutions. She takes the lead on all recruitment efforts, ensuring that we attract, train, and retain the industry’s top talent. Mrs. Wilson is a Certified Professional, awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and also has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Erin Roberts has joined the Spire marketing team as a Marketing Assistant, providing support in the development and execution of Spire’s go-to-market strategy, brand development, and demand generation programs. She also assists in designing graphic materials that help maintain and strengthen the Spire brand, including collateral pieces, brochures, proposals, presentations, and more. Ms. Roberts has obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
