Anthony Gonzales, Spire Managing Principal, has been given the honor to serve on a panel with Austin’s top construction leaders at the Construction Leadership Council’s (CLC) Annual Leadership Forum. Mr. Gonzales will share his expertise as a leader in the industry during the event’s interactive discussion, providing attendees with the opportunity to learn about A/E/C leadership in a unique and collaborative setting. He will be joined by Mr. Christopher Szeliga from JE Dunn, Ms. Kristin Thompson from Ryan Companies, Mr. David Smith from Austin Commercial, and Mr. Ron Albee, PE from Jay-Reese Contractors. Spire Consultant, Roberto Leandro, PMP, Professional Development Chair of the CLC Austin Chapter, will serve as the moderator of the event.

The discussion topics attendees can expect include the challenges faced by leaders in the construction industry and how these challenges differentiate construction leadership from that of other industries, ideal qualities in young and future construction leaders, each panelist’s vision for the future of the industry, and the importance of networking and building relationships. The panel discussion will be preceded by a networking event, giving attendees an opportunity to meet and interact with their peers.

The Leadership Forum is one of CLC’s signature events each year and is to be held on Thursday, August 29^th at the Hensel Phelps Austin Office from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
