Spire San Francisco’s top construction engineering experts, Roger Nelson, PE, PSP, LEED AP and Nour Bouhou, PhD, PSP will be the keynote speakers for the AACE International (AACE) San Francisco Bay Area Section’s September meeting. Mr. Nelson and Dr. Bouhou will share their extensive knowledge on weather delays, specifically how to analyze adverse weather in construction scheduling.

Weather delays are always expected to occur during a project’s lifecycle. However, planning for and quantifying weather delays using project schedules seem to introduce unforeseen levels of complexity. Through case studies, applications, and personal experiences, Mr. Nelson and Dr. Bouhou will give attendees a comprehensive overview of the industry standards for anticipating and accounting for weather delays, as well as the differences in how public and private contractors approach and plan for such delays. Spire experts are proactively engaged in all aspects of the A/E/C industry and are excited to share their expertise with the San Francisco Bay Area Section of AACE, AECOM employees, and numerous industry professionals.

This event will be hosted at AECOM’s office in San Francisco on Tuesday, September 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
