Spire Consulting Group will be exhibiting at the 2018 American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on Construction Law Midwinter Meeting from January 17 to 19, at the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa, in Fort Myers, Florida. This year’s conference, titled “Subcontractors, Subconsultants, Suppliers – Oh My!..”, will cover topics including subcontractor liability for design, managing the risk of non-performance during construction, and overcoming or enforcing contract language relating to damages. Attendees will also have the chance to build relationships with other thought-leaders in construction law through events such as the First Time Attendee Welcome and Kickoff Reception, the Diversity Lunch, and multiple division dinners and breakfasts held throughout the conference.
Spire is co-sponsoring a sunset, all white dinner cruise on the luxurious Princess Yacht with Gordon, Rees, Sully, Mansukhani, LLP, J.S. | HELD, and Walter P. Moore on Thursday, January 18. The cruise will bring together members of Divisions 4 (Project Delivery Systems), 6 (Labor and Employment), 10 (Transportation, Energy, and Environment), and 11 (Corporate Counsel). Each of these divisions plays an integral role in the growth and development of the Forum, as well as the construction industry as a whole. The cruise is a chance for members of the divisions to develop and foster key relationships and long-lasting alliance partnerships.
