The United States Embassy (Embassy) is situated on an 11-acre site in the Keninsky District in Bishkek. The multi-building campus includes a chancery, Marine security guard residence, support annex, warehouse, and facilities for the Embassy community. The Embassy provides a secure, modern, and environmentally sustainable workplace for visitors and Embassy staff. The campus includes sustainable features to conserve resources and reduce operating costs including energy-efficient lighting, water-conserving plumbing fixtures, and daylight harvesting.

Spire was engaged to provide schedule consulting services on the $145 million project. Spire’s initial efforts focused on assisting client personnel in Bishkek with the development of a recovery schedule, which included phasing, constructability, and risk identification. Spire also performed schedule reviews and updates, conducted a time impact analysis, and monitored risk on a monthly basis.

Spire utilized its findings during the analysis to compile a report of findings and help the client prepare a request for equitable adjustment (REA).
