SWE Region C Names Kate Hull 2017 “Emerging Leader”

Managing Consultant, Kate Hull, has been named an “Emerging Leader” by the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Gulf Coast Region, also known as Region C. The award honors one member each year who actively engages in an engineering or technology profession, Demonstrates outstanding professional performance, and consistently engages with SWE.

Nour Bouhou, Consultant with Spire Consulting Group, will sit on a panel titled “Leading from the Inside Out: Executive Perspectives on Leading and Leveraging Gender Diversity” for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) in San Jose, CA on February 24th. The discussion will center around integrating different work and communication styles between genders to create a more effective and collaborative workspace for everyone.

Marcelo Azambuja, PhD, Consultant, had a paper published in the 2016 Issue of the Lean Construction Journal. The paper titled “Aligning Near and Long Term Planning for LPS Implementations: Review of Existing and New Metrics” was co-authored with Mr. Samir Emdanat of Ghafari Associates, and introduces new metrics to help align near- and long-term planning for the Last Planner System (LPS) implementation.
