Spire is currently seeking a Director of Dispute Resolution in Texas. 

Spire Consulting Group, LLC is an established, multi-disciplined construction management and engineering consulting firm serving owners, general contractors, attorneys, financial institutions and sureties. Spire is currently seeking a Director of Dispute Resolution based in Texas. The Director role is a rare opportunity for someone who is passionate to develop a department in-house with the support of an established firm.

This person is responsible for leading the entire dispute resolution function for the firm, including the entrepreneurial strategy for growing the practice. The Director will provide a high level of expertise in either schedule delay & disruption analyses, loss in labor productivity studies, time impact analyses, damage quantification and/or forensic accounting. In addition to providing technical expertise, the Director will manage the operations of the department, including profit and loss, personnel, engagement management and will serve as a testifying expert as needed.


  • Manage schedule delay and disruption analyses
  • Manage losses in labor productivity studies
  • Manage quantification of damages
  • Manage contract audits
  • Contribute advisory and expert services in legal proceedings
  • Manage Dispute Resolution department, including career development and identification of hiring needs
  • Visit client sites as needed
  • Develop scopes of work and budgets for clients’ projects
  • Communicate with Principals to meet clients’ deadlines
  • Serve as a testifying expert
  • Mentor dispute resolution staff
  • Present at industry organizations/seminars
  • Write and review industry publications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Professional certification(s) PE, CFCC, PSP, PMP, CCP and/or CEP preferred


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in standard industry tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
