Spire Builds a Successful Partnership with SAME OC FBOS
SPIRE BUILDS A
“This event is one of the best ways for SAME OC members to network, and rally together to support the Post and achieve the greater mission of SAME, which is to lead collaborative efforts to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges.”
The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Orange County (OC) Post hosted the 2017 Federal Business Opportunities Symposium (FBOS) on November 8th at the Hilton in Costa Mesa, CA. The goal of the conference was to expand the availability of Department of Defense (DoD), state government, and municipal contracts to members of the Post by presenting relevant programs and facilitating great networking opportunities.
The event featured speakers representing agencies such as Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Los Angeles District, and projects such as the Oroville Dam Spillway Repair Project. The newly-installed Commanding Officer of NAVFAC SW, Captain Mark Edelson, was the keynote speaker of the conference.
The event was chaired by Spire’s Associate Principal, Michael Nosbisch, CCP, PSP, FAACE, and sponsored by several companies, including Spire Consulting Group.
Mr. Nosbisch stated “this event is one of the best ways for SAME OC members to network, and rally together to support the Post and achieve the greater mission of SAME, which is to lead collaborative efforts to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges.”
