Spire provided a 1-day training seminar to D. Wilson project managers and executives seeking a better understanding of scheduling best practices. The course examined the roles, responsibilities, and perspectives of the parties involved in the construction scheduling process. It also provided an overview of scheduling basics; demonstrated how to develop a realistic baseline schedule, revise, and update the schedule; and discussed delay analysis methods and techniques. As a result of the course, attendees learned the fundamentals necessary to implement a successful schedule management program— one that helps each party reap the benefits and opportunities while minimizing potential delays. The scheduling best practice training seminar focused on the following topics planning for schedule production; understanding schedule mechanics; developing effective baseline schedules; managing schedule updates and revisions; and Identifying schedule impacts.
