Harmon Tower Hotel and Residences
The Harmon Hotel and Residences was originally designed to be a $275M, 48 story mixed use hotel and condominium tower. The Project was part of the $8.5B urban mixed-use MGM development commonly known as Project CityCenter in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Project was started in March of 2005 and was never finished. On or about July 2008, certain issues related to steel reinforcement were discovered resulting in a dispute involving the owner, contractor and subcontractors.
In April 2013, Spire was hired by Century Steel, one of the steel reinforcing subcontractors to provide opinions regarding issues related to the dispute. On June 28, 2013, Spire submitted a Preliminary Report of Findings at the request of Hutchison & Steffen, LLC on behalf of Century Steel, Inc. in relation to the dispute between Century Steel, Inc. and Converse Professional Group.
