The Kiowa Casino, located in Devol, Oklahoma, is a 65,000 square-foot casino consisting of gaming areas, a fine dining restaurant, buffet dining restaurant, and office space. The structure is a steel frame founded on cast-in-place spread footings. Chasco Constructors, LTD, LLP (Chasco) was retained by Kiowa Casino Operations Authority to perform turnkey construction services for the casino. Chasco then awarded a subcontractor the mechanical and plumbing scope of work. As a result of numerous issues that arose during the project, a dispute occurred between Chasco and the subcontractor.
