The Baden Valve Lot & Pump Station Expansion project in San Mateo County, California consisted of installing a pump station standby generator, replacing the valve lot water sampling station, performing equipment and building seismic upgrades, and installing a pump station surge suppression system. Spire’s consultants assisted the California-based contractor, Transdyn, Inc., and equipment vendor in evaluating and quantifying schedule delays and disruptions that occurred during the $4 million wastewater treatment plant. Spire’s findings assisted with the successful resolution of the claim before arbitration saving the client thousands of dollars.
