POSITION SUMMARY

Spire is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in our Austin office to join our strong and dynamic Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development teams to produce and support proposal, marketing, and business development activities.

The Marketing Coordinator must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and function effectively as part of a team under multiple deadlines and time constraints, as well as schedule workload and manage time efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while demonstrating a “can do” attitude. We are looking for an energetic and motivated candidate with strong people and communication skills, including excellent writing and editing capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support outreach efforts, such as award submittals, client events, white paper or presentation development, conferences, tradeshows, and public relations efforts.
  • Assist with event & preparation, promotional items, as well as event and conference logistics, including QA/QC. Attend events as needed to support sales team.
  • Assist proposal manager with running reports related to conflict checks.
  • Update existing collateral to reflect branding guidelines & assist in developing digital content.
  • Update PowerPoint templates, org charts & Spire employee resumes as needed.
  • Maintain graphics archive and photo libraries.
  • Create and update Spire website pages such as bios, project experience map, project profiles.
  • Create landing pages and registration pages for events.
  • Assist proposal manager and sales by procuring images and specialized graphics for reports and presentations.
  • Keep inventory of marketing supplies.
  • Create and update employee digital business cards.
  • Photograph and edit new hire headshots as well as company events.
  • Update and monitor social media and website information.
  • Assist with the production of monthly marketing campaigns.
  • Complete general administrative duties as needed, including but not limited to, editing, proofreading, copying, collating, binding, typing, generating reports, maintaining inventory, and ordering marketing supplies, etc.
  • Be actively involved in professional and community organizations, including SMPS.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

SKILLS

  • Strong command of English grammar, composition, spelling, proofreading skills, and creativity as well as excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Experience with meeting planning, tradeshow/conferences, and event preparation.
  • Excellent organizational, file management, and time management skills to effectively meet and stay ahead on multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and separate work tasks and prioritizing them.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed or required by deadlines.
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles and A/E/C industry terminology and procedures.
  • Proven demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or English. Current pursuit of degree or equivalent experience accepted.

Preferred

  • Marketing experience preferred (A/E/C industry a plus).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with CRM System (SalesForce).
