Wooten Elementary Opens Its Doors Following Full Modernization

Spire Consulting Group celebrated the successful completion of Wooten Elementary, which welcomed students for its first day of school in a fully modernized facility. The project is among the first new and renovated campuses delivered under Austin Independent School District’s 2022 Bond Program, marking an important milestone in AISD’s commitment to improving learning environments across the district.

The comprehensive modernization was led by Spire’s Senior Construction Manager Gene Glenn, Project Manager Stephen Teltow, and Assistant Project Manager Lucia Mantero. The team worked closely with project partners Kirksey Architecture and Flintco, LLC Construction to deliver a contemporary, student-centered campus designed to support learning, safety, and community engagement.

With construction complete, Wooten Elementary now offers an updated environment ready to inspire students and educators alike. Spire is honored to have supported AISD in bringing this vision to life and looks forward to seeing students thrive in their new school.
