Spire prepared several assessments and reports including an Early Case Assessment, Delay Analysis, Report of Findings, Arbitration Support, and lessons learned with the client. Spire also assisted with identifying strengths and considerations of the client’s dispute and provided in-depth arbitration support, including reviews of post-hearing briefs. Spire’s team identified the risks for JE Dunn related to the performance of the parties in the project. They were also able to prove that the project was delayed because of the owner’s impact. Providing a simplified analysis highlighting the relevant issues and substantiating the causal events that went into delay and associated damages were also services offered by Spire.

The arbitrator relied on Spire’s analysis to award contractor damages for delay caused by the owner. Spire also conducted lessons learned meetings to inform JE Dunn about process improvements for practices to avoid disputes.
